Intermoney Valora Consulting has over 15 years of experience in the fields of valuation and of risk analysis of financial instruments. The external and independent valuation of financial instruments started by the company in 1998 with the development and implementation, by request from the Asociación de Intermediarios de Activos Financieros (AIAF), for a valuation methodology for non-liquid instruments dealt in that market. The proposed methodology was accepted by Banco de España and ratified in the year 2000 por the European Central Bank. Since 1998, Intermoney Valora Consulting´s AIAF asset price valuations have been used by both organisms for the colaterals´ valuation in its monetary regulation auctions. Currently the company values over 8.000 financial instruments with daily to quarterly recurrence.

The expertise in valuation and in measuring the risk of financial instruments, is further validated by the inclusion of a member of its staff in the Standard Board of the International Valuation Standard Council (IVSC) -www.ivsc.org-, highest international authority for the creation and development of valuation standards.

The continuous contrast in the methodologies used by Intermoney Valora Consulting and the inquestionable objectivity in its work is endorsed by the company´s requested expert opinion in over 80% of the Debt Issuance Expert Opinion reports requested by the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores to financial entities since the year 2009.

Similarly, over 130 investment funds use the services rendered by Intermoney Valora Consulting as an Independent Calculation Agent for the fulfillment of their normative obligations against supervisory organisms (Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores, Dirección General de Seguros and Banco de España).

Due to its accumulated experience, its transparency and independancy in the rendering of its services, the company has been regularly asked to perform fairness opinion reports in corporative mergers, trades, etc., as well as in instrument valuation conflict situations that arise between parties involved in operations of different nature.
